On August 18th our lives changed forever. We had been on vacation in Mexico for the week and received a call from our dog sitter telling us our beloved mini schnauzer, Apple Jack wasn’t doing too well. The dog sitter allowed him to have a rawhide dog treat. Unfortunately, Apple Jack got extremely ill from the treat and because of the sitter’s lack of care resulted in his death. We were absolutely devastated. It seemed so unreal. We didn’t want this to happen to any other family and also enjoy baking as a family so we created AJ’S Dog Bakery. To honor our boy Apple Jack, to educate pet owners of the dangers of rawhide bones, and to bake high quality dog treats with LOVE and all natural ingredients for your fur babies! We hope that your fur babies enjoy them! We know our boy Apple Jack would’ve!
